The Threaded Tabby Return and Refund Policy

At The Threaded Tabby, every item is made with care and we want you to love your purchase. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us so we can help.

Ready To Ship Items

Ready to Ship items may be returned within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, items must:

• Be unworn, unwashed, and unused.
• Be free of stains, odors, or other signs of wear
• Have all original tags (if applicable)
• Be returned in their original condition.

You'll also need to provide proof of purchase.

Custom Orders

Because custom orders are made specifically for you, they have a 3-day return window from the date your order is delivered.

If there is an issue with your custom order, please contact us within 3 days of delivery to begin the return process.

To be eligible for a return, custom items must be in new, unworn, and unwashed condition. You'll also need to provide proof of purchase.

Please note: The $5 custom order fee is non-refundable! 

How to Start a Return

All returns must be initiated by contacting The Threaded Tabby before anything is mailed back.

Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

To request a return, please contact us with:

• Your order number
• Your name
• The item(s) you wish to return
• The reason for the return

Once your return request has been reviewed and approved, you will receive instructions on where to send your item.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to:

• An item arriving damaged
• An item that was incorrect due to our error

We recommend using a shipping service that provides tracking, as The Threaded Tabby is not responsible for returns lost in transit. All accepted returns must be mailed back within 5 days of receiving approval.

Refunds

Once your approved return has been received and inspected, you will be notified of the status of your refund.

If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please allow several business days for your financial institution to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at thethreadedtabby@gmail.com.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is the result of our error. The $5 custom order fee on all custom order products is non-refundable.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, contact The Threaded Tabby (thethreadedtabby@gmail.com) as soon as possible with photos of the issue so we can make it right.

Please note slight variations in pattern placement are normal due to the handmade nature of each item and are not considered defects.

Pet-Friendly Environment

The Threaded Tabby is a home-based, pet friendly sewing studio. While our pets are never permitted to interact with fabrics, works in progress, or finished garments they do live in our home and enter the room where fabric is stored.

We take great care to maintain a clean sewing and storage environment; however, we cannot guarantee that products are completely free of pet hair or dander.

Customers with pet allergies or sensitivities are encouraged to consider this information before placing an order. Because this production environment is disclosed prior to purchase, returns or refunds requested solely due to the presence or possibility of pet allergens or pet hair will not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

• Gift cards
• Clearance or Final Sale Items
• Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery
• Returns sent without prior authorization
• Returns or refunds requested solely because products were made in our disclosed pet-friendly home studio or due to concerns about possible pet allergens or pet hair.
